Week One Over Reaction

Zach Wilson's Jets recover after a faulty takeoff, Tuanon is no conspiracy & hopefully we have not seen the last of Aaron Rodgers on a football field.

NFL KICKOFF 2023

What a week of football it was, until a 40 year old man Kevin Wared himself, 4 snaps into the game.

The Shaman, Aaron Rodgers suffered a potentially career ending injury, 4 plays in to his Jets tenure.

The absolute worst way to end one of the best weeks of the year, NFL Kickoff.

It wasn't all bad, the octobox is back, the Detroit Lions are cooking, and Aaron Donald is back doing what he does best... making quarterbacks regret their career choice.

Thank You Aaron Rodgers

All the promise that was the Aaron Rodgers Era Jets, have seemingly come to a crash landing on the first drive of the season. Some might say they didn't even make it off the runway.

After emerging from the darkness, toting an American flag, 22 years to the day after the tragic 9/11 terror attacks, Captain Rodgers was a beacon of hope for football fans in the worlds greatest city.

I don't know if this is too soon... but damn this is the most Jets thing to happen since the butt fumble.

I, an Aaron Rodgers truther am devastated that we will not get to witness the King's Last Dance.

The greatest thrower of the football in NFL History may have taken his last snap Monday Night, and the only words I have are:

Thank you for everything, Aaron Rodgers!

FIX METLIFE... Abolish Turf!!!

Turf needs to be abolished in the NFL by next week, there are way too many massive impacts on the field to be playing on a surface as unforgiving as turf.

Anyone who's ever worn cleats on turf vs grass can tell you, while you may get a little extra control on turf, the slightest off angle step can be catastrophic.

The wear and tear of a full NFL season is more than enough without the added stress of playing on a field not suited for football movements.

And I know it's may not be a direct correlation but Rodgers played in Lambeu for 19 years... a stadium notoriously known for having a grass surface.

I'm not saying his Achilles wasn't one misstep away no matter what surface he's on but come on, we have seen this year after year.

If the added expense of a grass field keeps the most important person in a billion dollar business working, I'd say it's more than worth it.

Clean this shit up Rodger... and if the NFL won't do anything, we at least need to get MetLife some of that Tuckahoe grass.

Holy Shit the Giants are Bad

With the cushy stuff out of the way... 9/11 isn't even enough of a comparison to the awful display of football Sunday Night from the New York Giants.

I am embarrassed beyond belief to call myself a Giants fan after losing to the broke ass Dallas Cowboys 40-0.

The New York Giants offensive line should be charged with war crimes for what they did to Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley.

Brian Daboll better be having the boys running for their lives this week in practice, because if I was him I'd pull a Deon Sanders and ship 80 percent of this team off in the transfer portal, Evan Kneal first.

I'm disgusted with the New York Giants, and have no further comment...

Tuanon is no conspiracy

They didn't believe in us... Mike McDaniel did.

Tua entered week one as my ninth rated quarterback in the league, and he might have left it in the #1 spot.

The magnum opus of offense the Miami Dolphins displayed week one, was second to none... with a come back win over Justin Herbert's Chargers.

That Tua x Tyreek combination is deadly, and defenses should be terrified of the Miami Dolphins.

Like I said last article, with the guy that basically invented the modern day Shanahan offense drawing plays with some of the most dynamic athletes in the league, there nothing but massive offensive production coming out of Miami Fl.

Plus Tua didn't get much more CTE this week, so that's also a win.

Aaron Donald is Still Him

Aaron Donald is now and will forever be him....

Listen to Geno Smith calling out for his mama to save him in the video above; when #99 was barreling down, unblocked.

I'd rather see a Bengal Tiger in the Serengeti.

After a Super Bowl slump, the Los Angeles Rams are looking like themselves again.

With AD holding down the defense and Matty Ice still slinging it, Sean McVey's Rams are definitely a team to watch this season.

New Sheriff in Green Bay

Jordan Love has taken over one of the most sacred positions in sports, quarterback of the Green Bay Packers.

From the Days of Bart Starr, to the hostile handoff from Farve to Rodgers, and the surprise first round selection of Jordan love coming off a Rodgers MVP season; the Green Bay Packers don't compromise when they have found their guy.

And for years this organization has been telling us that Jordan Love is the future; I don't know what the future holds, but it's safe to say we're off to a good start in Wisconsin.

Definitely a bitter sweet weekend for Green Bay fans, but the future doesn't look as bleak over there as it does in the Medowlands.

No wins for footballs top 3 teams

The Chiefs, Bengals, and Bills all came up as short as Kyler Murray this weekend.

A rough start for the leagues elite teams, but it's a long year. R-E-L-A-X.

FOOTBALL IS ALL THE WAY BACK 🗣️

Thank you Aaron Rodgers...
